Why not take your RIB for a trip to Scotland?
This is a note from a friend regarding the idea of a RIB trip to Scotland:
If you ever go to Scotland and take your RIB or boat of any kind for that matter, then a good cruise to go on is westward from somewhere like Troon, out through the Kyle of Lochalsh and “over the sea to Skye” The scenery is spectacular and slicing though some of the narrow connecting waterways is breathtaking. Watch out for the weather though, which is why it’s a good idea to go in a good seaworthy RIB.
We went out once on a perfect day and the weather closed in without warning, but our RIBs were capable and we were competent and it only added to the days excitement, but it’s a brilliant run for RIBs if you’re ever up that way.
