We have just received a fantastically equipped Avon Adventure 560 RIB with Yamaha 100Hp 4-Stroke. This Avon Adventure is a brilliant example of why Avon RIBs are so well known and respected as good sea boats. The ‘Adventure’ RIB range incorporates the design from commercial Avon RIBs and applies it to leisure family RIBs. Avon launched the 5.6m Adventure RIB around 8 years ago to provide customers with a boat that was easy to store ashore and could be trailed and launched whilst maintaining the ability to comfortably seat family and friends.
The RIB has seating for six people distributed across a 2 person console seat, jockey seats for the helm and co-pilot and a bench seat at the back which is ideal for children and has a huge storage unit beneath it.
This Avon RIB really stands out when you consider the equipment and extras which have been fitted. The two person console includes a Fusion, i-Pod compatible, stereo with surround sound, a 10.4 inch Garmin 2110 GPS unit which is perfect for navigating at the high speeds which the RIB is capable of and a Standard Horizon VHF (DSC) with twin fist microphones.
The boat also includes an A-frame with ski point, navigation lights and aerials, a bilge pump and stainless steel boarding ladder attached to the transom for boarding from the water.
