Matt and his colleagues were very professional and a pleasure to deal with all through the negotiations and arrangements to purchase my RIB. I am fairly new to boating and prior to this purchase was looking around at the outfits being sold by several other dealers/brokerages. JBT Marine were able to reassure and guide me through the whole process including a fair, unbiased appraisal, and eventual elimination of the competitors offerings. Matt was also able to offer a good comparison of the various merits of each of the different boats that he had in stock and  I never felt pressurised at any stage. He also did not seem to mind how many times I called him for advice, or how many questions I came up with until I eventually made up my own mind to buy a JBT Zodiac Pro7 RIB.

I found their website to be very good, with lots of useful links such as the Drystack, and lists of boats previously sold which gave me a good idea as to what prices were being reached by different types of boat. The stock list of boats for sale is very comprehensive, and there were some interesting video clips such as one of the boats for sale, and useful tips on launching and recovery. I would also recommend having a look at the link to the excellent on-site Drystack boat storage facility at Trafalgar Wharf which I have selected for my boat. I received superb customer service from Lisa Simpson who is responsible for the Drystack service.

I thought it was also very good the way the boat was valeted and prepared for handover to me, with Matt happy to spend plenty of time in an unrushed manner, carefully going through and explaining how all the items on the boat functioned. I also liked the way I was dealt with in a polite, courteous manner, and felt very much the valued customer. When I first went to see the boat it was on a freezing cold afternoon 2 day’s before Christmas and Matt was happy to give me his time even though he and his colleagues were due to leave for their Christmas Party !

When the time comes to sell and buy a bigger boat I am sure that I will use JBT Marine.
