After trawling the net for many hours looking for our next boat it was a refreshing change to see such a selection of boats in one place. From the moment I made my internet enquiry our sales executive Gareth was attentive and knowledgeable. We are a good 4 hour drive from JBT marine so when we arrived to a view a number of boats I was pleasantly surprised that our first choice was already sat in the water for a sea trail, nothing was too much trouble.

More important than the initial handling of our enquiry has been the care and time given through the sale and after the delivery to ourselves, it really has been second to none and I have no hesitation in recommending JBT marine and Gareth to anyone considering buying a boat.

Met Gareth at jbtmarine today and was very pleased with his knowledge and his easy going manner. Not at all pushie or overbearing in sales pitch. He gave us lots of tips and helpful infomation on ribs. Although we are not in a position to buy at the moment we will be keeping an eye on your website.
We have know upped our range and are looking for a 6metre rib with a pot of around 10000 pounds.

Says the boat is impressive and also very economical – he couldn’t believe we’d done all those manoeuvres and playing about and barely used quarter of a tank.

Hi Guys,

I just wanted to thank you all for a really great couple of days with you doing the L2 powerboat course. It was really useful not just to do the course but also to spend time looking at and talking about Ribs. It really has helped to clarify my mind about what I am ultimately looking for in a Rib as I gain more confidence, which I did through the course thanks to Matt, and progress from being a fair weather calm water boater to someone who can now create a passage plan, a pilotage plan and start to get more adventurous.

I will be back for the Intermediate course.

Hi all at JBT Marine,

A quick email to thank you all for such a brilliant service on both sales and after-sales. Even though i only bought a second hand rib the service i received was second to none.
Since the delivery of my 6.5 metre Ballistic, i have been on the water just 3 times because of this lovely weather we have been experiencing.
I and people i have had with me, cannot believe the handling of this rib in both flat and rough conditions. I have taken students out on a RYA powerboat course and all were surprised at, how easy it was to helm in planing and tight slow manoeuvring giving a dry smooth ride in all conditions.

Jane and I would like to thank you so much for your enthusiastic, efficient and always prompt responses in our purchase of a magnificent 5.5m Ballistic RIB.

Living in Scotland and attempting to acquire a RIB for Greece via Portsmouth was never going to be straightforward (or so we thought!).  JBT Marine were easily the most helpful of the firms we approached.  The Ballistic RIB range is highly ‘specked’ compared to most British “workboat” RIBs and far smarter.

Internationally it represented better value for money than anything we could find in Greece.  You patiently and courteously dealt with a whole host of enquiries from accessories to operation to trailering to paperwork requirements for Greece.

You arranged efficient transportation and shrink-wrapping for the journey.  All we had to do was unload and go exploring in glorious sunshine.  Perfect!

Buying this RIB from JBT has been one of the most positive experiences we’ve had (and no, he didn’t pay us to say that!).
