Cygnus Marine, Britain’s leading GRP fishing and workboat builders, first introduced this design in 1977, and since that date the CYGNUS GM21 has become the accepted standard for inshore fishing vessels. She is a sea-friendly, round bilge, stable, easily driven hull.
This Cygnus 21 fishing boat was built in 2005 and was fitted out to a good standard. The forward wheelhouse is well set out with GPS, fishfinder, VHF and compass. The engine is a Beta 35 diesel (set to 23kW MAX) with low hours and has been well maintained by the current owners.
This fishing vessel has been fitted with many extras including a Fibre Glass Reinforced area on starboard side for potting / netting, Mackerel jigging line, S/S hand rails, Life raft frame on wheelhouse roof and wooden gunnels.
She is an economical vessel and comfortably cruises at 5 Knots, and has a top speed of approx. 7 knots.
