This Pacific 22 RIB is powered by a Mermaid 140hp diesel inboard engine and since 2000 it has been used as a tender on a large motor yacht. It has been well maintained and cared for.
In September 2000 the engine was completely rebuilt by Mermaid Marine (invoices available) and Henshaw’s supplied new tubes.
In April 2001 a new stern power leg was fitted.
In August 2006 a new water pump impellor was fitted along with turbo charger seals during a service and the cushions where reupholstered.
This Pacific 22 RIB also had a spring refit and the engine and gearbox where removed from the boat, cleaned, repainted checked over and serviced. New belts fitted, injectors tested, new oil and fuel filters, engine and gearbox oils changed. Coolers cleaned, new fresh water coolant and the drive shaft repainted. A new bronze seacock valve and through hull fitted. New VHF antenna, new seal in steering pump, new anode on power leg where all done during the service.
The Pacific 22 RIB is a well proven, rugged work horse capable of tackling rough seas with ease. Offering a high degree of safety, stability and security, previously used and owned by the MOD.
