RIBs For Sale have just listed this beautiful example of the sought after Hunton 1005 RIB, she has benefited from a full re-furb in 2018, which included, new tubes, new upholstery, deck re-furb, this work was carried out in a local boatyard by a professional team. The Hunton brand has an enviable heritage and reputation, known for their high-quality finish and outstanding performance capabilities. This model is powered by two Mercury L6 four stroke (supercharged) 300hp engines (350 Verado decals). The engine hours are 340hrs and both have been well maintained. There is also a twin axle (L9 Snipe) trailer available by separate negotiation.

The layout offers a high degree of security during high-speed runs and for socializing / dining, she is equally as well equipped. The 4-x bucket style leaning post seats provide support and hug you perfectly to prevent any sideways movement at speed (there is also an integral foot rest at the base of the console), whilst the generous wrap around rear bench is ideal for social gatherings, if you fancy lounging in the sunshine, the double sun pad in the bow is ideal. For convenience there is an enclosed, electrically operated, loo inside the console adjacent to the integrated sink, there is also a hanging rail for wet gear and a drain in the deck. The deck is laid with teak throughout and looks stunning. The colour scheme is subtle and stylish with the upholstery contrasting the grp beautifully. In addition to the storage inside the console there are plenty of storage lockers for stowing gear. The battery isolators are housed beneath the rear bench seat, the forward locker is cavernous and has a teak insert to level the floor for easy loading. And to keep the drinks cool, there is an ice locker with drain plug moulded into the front of the console.

In respect of convenience there is power assisted hydraulic steering, an anchor windlass, 12inch Garmin display featuring Radar, and GPS / Sonar. A fusion stereo system with speakers fitted in the rear bench seat, provides entertainment of the highest standard. Whilst alongside she can be plugged into shore power (240v) to provide the batteries with support. At the helm, which is superbly laid out, there are 3 x Mercury gauges offering engine data, as well as 5 other analogue gauges, an I-Com VHF, the 12-inch Garmin and the switch gear for all the onboard systems.
