RIBs For Sale have recently listed “Mystery Quay II” which is a beautifully kept example of a 2001 Chris Craft 248. The condition throughout can only be described as well loved! Even the concealed areas such as the engine bay are clean / dry and tidy, it’s clear to see the onboard systems have been well maintained, there is also a paper trail to support that.  She is powered by a Volvo Penta 5.0 V8 (GI) Petrol engine that has benefited from regular maintenance along with the DP drive. Visually everything up top and down below is in great order, the headlining in the cabin is taught, clean and dry, the upholstery and carpets are tidy, she really is ready to enjoy.

The spacious layout comprises double rear (forward facing) bench seat with opposing double bench for social dining etc. Ahead of that there is a double bench seat for the helm station and a comfy double with integrated back rest adjacent on the Port side. Down below in the cabin area there is a generous, comfy double V-berth in the bow, and under the companionway steps there is another double berth. Behind its own door is the separate “heads” with loo and sink (with integral shower head) which offers a high degree of privacy. There is an I-com VHF radio – Raymarine GPS Plotter, and whilst alongside you can plug into 240V using the shore power connection, a Stirling battery charger will keep the twin batteries topped up. For convenience, there is powered engine bay hatch, bow thruster and trim tabs for fuel efficient running and handling. On the spacious bathing platform there is a fold down ladder, an aux engine bracket, stainless steel cleats and gateway to the cockpit.
