RIBs For Sale would like to introduce this mighty Humber 9m “Offshore” RIB, she was fitted out in 2010 / 2011 for her current owner and built to Quinquari standards, the build was surveyed by an independent surveyor on completion. The specification is comprehensive and would facilitate coding for commercial use if desired. The twin Evinrude E-Tec 300hp Gen2 engines are up to date in respect of servicing, the local Evinrude service agent serviced them both in Oct 2022. She comes equipped and ready for the road on a Nicholson twin axle trailer (new axles in 2023).

As robust, ‘all’ weather RIBs go, this RIB belongs in that category, with her high shear in the bow and her deep V running aft, she will not be phased by much. The performance provide by the powerful twin 300hp engines will propel her to 50+ knots effortlessly, she’s equally as happy cruising comfortably at 30 knots and will plough through whatever is thrown at her. The twin shock mitigation seats behind the console will absorb any lumps and bumps, combined with the shock mitigation flooring that surrounds the driver and co-pilot seats she makes for an extremely comfortable ride. And with 500+ litres of fuel available she’s got range too! As well as the 500-litre main tank, there is a 90ltr reserve tank. Her heavy duty Hypalon tubes and quadruple D-section fendering in the bow (tapering aft to dual D-section) mean she’s perfectly equipped to take on a commercial role with the ability to go alongside most boats / structures securely. She also comes with a comprehensive suit of electronics to satisfy the most demanding of skippers. As regards safety, she has a dedicated life raft bracket in the bow, just behind the anchor locker. This will house a 6-man and an 8-man cannister type life raft (available by separate negotiation). On the A-frame there are horseshoe lifebuoys either side, throw lines under the rear bench seat (compliance dates / validity cannot be guaranteed).

The layout is specifically geared towards people transfer / bodies on seats, she can seat 12 in comfort with additional room on the rear bench for maybe 2 x small ones, that’s a good family day out! Everyone benefits from strategically placed, secure hand holds and underfoot the deck is covered from bow to stern with diamond pattern rubber matting.

In terms of storage there are plenty of places to stow the essentials, the console offers a vast array of room as does the rear bench seat, there is also storage underneath every jockey seat. So, whether it’s a day at the beach with family and friends or a commercial venture with all the associated kit, she will swallow it up!

The console is kitted out with a comprehensive array of electronics, comprising, 2 x Lowrance HDS units, featuring GPS, Fishfinder and radar capability. There is an I-Com VHF, Evinrude engine gauge a separate analogue fuel gauge and a vast switch panel to isolate / engage everything. The batteries and the isolator switch can be found inside the rear bench seat.
